My Money Weekly Secondary Edition Front PageMy Money Week teachers notes front page

2014 brings with it the sixth annual My Money Week and the new resources for secondary age young people, focused on citizenship and the community, are available to download now!

My Money Week

My Money Week is the national themed activity week which pfeg runs annually in June. There are loads more free resources, exciting ideas, videos and competitions all on our My Money Week microsite.

The fundamental aim of the Week is to improve financial capability in young people and this year we have produced the most flexible resources ever for you to use to deliver fun, engaging and relevant financial education to your children and young people.

The resources comprise of a young person facing newspaper, the My Money Weekly, filled with community focused articles, an editorial, a sports page and a problem page and even a puzzle page! The newspaper is accompanied by Teachers Notes which provide ideas on how to use and develop the content.

As well as the newspaper there are three further ‘inserts’, which provide useful information and helpful tips and resources for holding an assembly, running competitions in school, working with external agencies, and tips for parents and carers.

Don’t forget to check out the four online training videos we have produced for further inspiration on how to take part in this year’s My Money Week.
